Idolize, Not Me

lion-1840092_1280

I have never been one to idolize another. I am not one to fall at another´s feet or express devotion. No, that simply is not me. What I will do is smile and look within your Soul but not in a creepy way.  I will respect you and acknowledge your gifts. I will admire your dedication and courage to follow your path. I will offer recognition for the Being that you are. I will give you the space to evolve. I will see in you what I see in me; a majestic Being. Namaste, M

Our physical body constrains our spirit, Part 1 of 5

Edgar Cayce

‘The human spirit is omniscient and all-powerful and participates in all that happens in the universe, but as men’s organs are not yet sufficiently developed to transmit the experiences of the spirit to their consciousness, they themselves neither know nor feel any of this.

It is the physical body that has to be strengthened, not the spirit
You will ask, “What should we do, then? Should we try to strengthen, enlighten and educate our spirit?” No, it is the physical body that has to be strengthened, purified, spiritualized and rendered divine.

We must take care to give our physical body only pure food and drink, pure air, the pure rays of the sun and all that is purest and best in the way of forms, colours, sounds, music and perfume.

The spirit is indestructible, a spark from God
The spirit does not need any of those things; like God, the spirit is everywhere; it is omniscient and omnipresent. It is our matter that has to be cared for and transformed, and in doing this, we shall be giving our spirit a better chance of manifesting itself in all its splendour.’

Spiritualists often think that it is the spirit that must be purified and ennobled and that they may neglect and even despise the physical body. They think that if the spirit manifests itself imperfectly on the physical level it is because it is imperfect and needs to be developed, strengthened and purified.

No, the spirit is made of subtle, luminous, indestructible material; it is eternal, a spark from God; it does not need to be instructed or improved.

The spirit is imprisoned by the constraints of our physical body
This is very clear in the phenomenon of clairvoyance, for instance. Take the example of the American clairvoyant Edgar Cayce. He was an ordinary man with very little formal education and yet, when he was in a hypnotic trance, he showed that he had immense knowledge in all kinds of subjects such as medicine and history.

Once he came out of his trance, however, he could remember nothing about what he had seen, and this shows that when the spirit of even the most ordinary human being is given the opportunity to escape from the constraints of the physical body in which it is imprisoned, it becomes omniscient.’

Love of Stones

I absolutely love all the beautiful stones mother earth creates. Every stone has its own energetic blueprint. crystals-1567953_1920

As a holistic practitioner I use the magic of stones/crystals to help harmonize the human energy field, cleans my surroundings, balance the chakras or simply add beauty and color to my space.  I find that we are attracted to the stones we need most or what resonates with our energy at the time. Just yesterday,  I was explaining the energy and benefits of Sodalite to a client of mine. My client was attracted to that stone so of course I shared that Sodalite treats the throat and voice among other areas. She looked at me with her eyes wide open as though completed shocked. She asked, “what did you say?” I explained again… She said, “oh my goodness, I have a soar throat, my throat has been hurting.” Yes, I mentioned sometimes we are attracted to what we need the most.  Of course I could have also said that Sodalite treats the mind to eliminate confusion, opens intuition, and much more but that is not what my intuition brought forth for this client.

There are too many stones to mention but if you are interested in knowing more about the energy of stones and how they can assist with your daily life, feel free to visit my store on ETSY where I have a wide variety of items and stones.

Enjoy this beauty day, live in the moment, pick up a stone and connect with mother earth.

With Love and Light

The Planet Mercury, Symbol of The Philosopher’s Stone, Part 1/6

Alchemical treatises explain that, in order to obtain the Philosophers’ Stone symbolized by Mercury, the adept has to begin their work exactly as the Sun enters Aries and the Moon enters Taurus, for the Sun is exalted in Aries and the Moon in Taurus. Gemini, the next sign in the zodiacal circle, is the home of Mercury.

Thus we have the three signs of Aries (the Sun), Taurus (the Moon) and Gemini (Mercury), which follow each other in order to show that it is the union of the Sun and the Moon that produces the child, Mercury. The trio of Sun, Moon and Mercury is found in other signs of the Zodiac as well but, for the time being, we shall consider only these three very significant signs, Aries, Taurus and Gemini.

The glyph of Mercury is composed of the disc of the Sun, the crescent of the Moon and, to indicate their union, the plus sign (+). The glyph of Mercury, therefore, is simply the union of Sun and Moon.

The Sun and the Moon give birth to the child, Mercury, the Philosophers’ Stone. But the true Philosophers’ Stone sought by alchemists is, in reality, a symbol of the transformation of man.Alchemists work with the Sun and the Moon, that is to say, with the two principles of will and imagination and it is thanks to the work of the two principles that they are capable of transmuting their own matter and becoming, symbolically, as radiant as the Sun and as pure as the Moon.

It is no coincidence that Mars is domiciled in Aries and Venus in Taurus, for it is by working with the Sun and the Moon, that is to say with the masculine and feminine principles, by sublimating their sexual energy (Venus) and the dynamic, active force of their will (Mars), that an alchemist obtains the spiritual powers symbolized by Mercury, the magic agent.

The Knights Templar figure Baphomet
In the tradition of the Knights Templar, this magic agent was represented by Baphomet, that monstrous figure which led many people to believe that the Templars worshipped the Devil. Others called the magic agent ‘Azot,’ a word that is formed of the first letter of the alphabet in Latin (A), Greek (Alpha) and Hebrew (Aleph) and the last letters of the same three alphabets, Z (Latin), O (Greek) and T (Hebrew), and which signifies that the magic agent is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
