The body has numerous energy points but the most common are seven Chakras aligned from the top of our head to the tail bone. These are the energy centers in which energy flows through.
Blocked energy in any of our seven chakras can often lead to illness, so it’s important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely.
Here’s our quick summary:
Root Chakra: represents our foundation and feeling of being grounded. Located at the base of the spine in the tailbone area. Linked to survival issues such as financial independence, money and food.
Sacral Chakra: Our connection and ability to accept others and new experiences. Located in the lower abdomen, about two inches below the navel and two inches in. Linked with a sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure and sexuality.
Solar Plexus Chakra: Our ability to be confident and in control of our lives. Located in the upper abdomen in the stomach area. Linked with self-worth, self confidence and self esteem.
Heart Chakra: Our ability to love. Located in the center of the chest just above the heart. Linked with emotional issues related to love, joy and inner peace.
Throat Charkra: Our ability to communicate. Located in the throat. Linked with issues related to communication, self-expression and truth.
Third Eye Chakra: Our ability to focus and see the big picture. Located in the forehead between the eyes. Linked with intuition, imagination. wisdom and the ability to think and make decisions.
Crown Chakra: Our ability to be fully connected spiritually. Located at the top of the head. Linked to inner and outer beauty and our connection to spirituality and pure bliss.
